The New Mercedes 503bhp SUV

The Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 and the GLC 63 coupe are set to go on sale in June. The GLC AMG is a pretty impressive rival for the Porsche Macan Turbo, if Mercedes are more your style!

Both cars will be available in a heart stopping model, if you really want to terrify the family, and use the twin-turbocharged V8 engine from the C 63.

The GLC 63 boasts 469bhp standard or 503bhp in the top of the range ‘S’ model.

With the Porsche only delivering 434bhp with the performance package, I have a feeling I know which one of these rivals you’re going to lean towards when it comes to shopping for a new performance SUV.

The GLC A63 has a top speed of 155mph but Mercedes have yet to reveal the 0-62mph time, I wouldn’t be surprised if it is around 4 seconds.

Also, with the GLC 63 pair, it isn’t only about power! These cars both have so much more to offer. There is no denying that these are absolutely stunning cars. You are sure to turn heads wherever you go with the new body styling, the front grille looks as if it has been taken straight off the AMG GT, and with more aggressive front bumpers, the GLC has a mean face that you will not want to mess with. Although both cars have a fairly similar front end, they have a completely different rear. The GLC 63 is chunky and bold while the coupe shows off its curves and looks amazing doing it. On top of all of that, there is new side skirts, a new spoiler lip, sports exhaust and 20-inch alloys.

The driver will have the choice of 4 driving modes, Comfort, Sport, Sport +, and individual modes, will allow you to alter settings such as suspension, gear shift times and traction control settings, I can guarantee you won’t be getting bored with either of these cars any time soon!

Confirmed for UK delivery in September 2017, we cannot wait to pick up one of these as a used Mercedes, it will definitely be one of the best looking cars on our forecourt!
