200-Point Vehicle Inspection

From bonnet to boot, we check it all over. Our team of technicians, panel beaters and body sprayers review all components including everything from the engine and drivetrain, to the brakes, tyres and bodywork. Only when we are completely satisfied will our cars leave our preparation centre, ready to be viewed by you on one of our forecourts. Because what matters to you, matters to us.

Oil Service

We carry out an oil and filter change on every car that’s due an upcoming service. During the service, essential checks are also carried out on critical components such as the suspension and braking system to ensure they do not let you down.

MOT

For MOT-eligible cars aged three years and over, we’ll ensure a pass certificate is attained before our cars are ever marketed for sale. An MOT test pass is confirmation that our cars meet the strict road safety and environmental standards set. You can also check the MOT status of any vehicle on the Gov.uk website.

Smart Repair

We know how annoying a scratch and a scuff can be when buying a new car. That’s why we repair all the small imperfections we can. Our team of smart repair technicians take pride in their work and leave our cars looking as good as new.

History Check

For your peace of mind, we conduct a background history check on all cars we market, using third-party industry-leading data providers such as CAP HPI. We’ll check a range of registers to ensure your new car isn’t stolen, previously written off, has outstanding finance or mileage discrepancies. We want you to have confidence with your purchase, so we publish the HPI reports on our website, saving you the time and hassle of having to buy a report yourself.

Professional Valet

A full valet and deep clean is carried out on each car’s interior and exterior, ensuring everything will be ship shape for when you arrive. Our valets are more than just the quick ‘inside and out’ spruce up you’d get at your local garage. We thoroughly wash, vac and disinfect the vehicle interior and rinse, wash, clay bar and polish the exterior paintwork too.

The 200-point check we carry out on all our cars is a thorough and methodical process that’s built into our preparation process at our national prep centre. Our teams check over core components including the body exterior, engine, suspension, steering, drivetrain, brake system, tyres, electricals, underbody, interior and boot.

We check a range of HPI registers to ensure we know the history of the cars we sell. Our vehicle checks cover up to 80 different data points covering each car’s history, including - Stolen car check - Insurance write-off - Outstanding finance - Previous keepers - Scrapped car check - Logbook check - Mileage discrepancies - Number plate changes - Import/export check - MOT history - VIN/chassis check - Safety recall

We’ll always hand over the service histories of our cars if we hold them. Often, service histories are becoming increasingly digital, but we’ll be able to provide you with a print out if required. At times, there may be vehicles we advertise that do not have full, or partial service histories and we’d therefore recommend checking with a member of our team for more information on an individual car-by-car basis.
